We’re excited to partner with The Belong Project!
The Belong Project is an initiative breaking down the barriers that exclude those who are differently abled.
The Belong Project Founder, Brittney Eng, describes her vision…
A little over two years ago, I had a vision to create something that would raise awareness for people who are differently abled. This project is centered around a movement to raise awareness for people who are differently abled, as well as to educate others on disabilities.
The Partnership
The Belong Project is centered around breaking down the barriers that exclude those who are differently-abled, falling in line with Zealm’s heart to support leaders and greater good initiatives.
We believe in Brittney, the problem they’re solving, and the impact that’s been made. We’re supporting the Belong Project with the intention of accelerating its growth and impact. We also hope that as people continue to see this, they become curious and inspired by how they can use their gifts, talents, and experience for the greater good.
Project 002
The goal of The Belong Project’s Project 002 is to fundraise to get Juan a new Macbook Pro.
Meet Juan Vilchez
Juan was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, and is currently a senior journalism major and physics minor at Azusa Pacific University. His dream is to become an ABC news anchor!
Juan lost his eyesight at the age of 5 years old due to a diagnosis of Retinoblastoma. One of the challenges he faces with being blind is being at a school that is created for typically abled people. It is through being blind, where Juan has discovered his passion for advocating and educating others about disabilities, specifically blindness.
What Would a Macbook Pro mean to Juan?
Over the course of his 4 years in college, Juan has found it difficult to navigate a typical learning environment. Having a new and better laptop that has blind accessibility features such as a voice-over translator and braille features, would greatly help Juan as he continues to pursue his career in journalism and physics.

Brittney says what makes The Belong Project unique is their “desire to simply raise awareness for those with special needs while also helping out other organizations dedicated to serving this community.”
As we grow and become more active, we want to continue building attention towards the pursuit of purpose for the greater good. We are committed to equipping and advancing this next generation of leaders and we are so excited to begin by partnering with The Belong Project!
These are exactly the types of people and organizations we are looking to partner with and we are so excited for Juan and what’s to come for The Belong Project.
